Man Power takes the reins of the original and pushes it further into dancefloor territory, applying a driving kick and acid textures with washes of optimisim and hints of a brighter future yet to be discovered. Man Power’s self titled debut album on Correspondant in 2015 drew wide praise and paid heed to diverse influences including early 20th century modernism to late 20th century new wave through to experimental cinema, philosophy and poets. The result was somewhat experimental and pop textured and sits comfortably with his other eminent releases on the likes of ESP Institute, Hivern Discs, Throne of Blood, Infine and Ene Japan.
